Voter ID Initiative

Voter ID Initiative  This is an effort by Assembly Member Carl DeMaio and Reform California.  This is a proposed initiative to require voter ID to eliminate voter fraud.  Please help in any way possible by going online to sign the petition, or, donate, or volunteer.  If signature gathering is successful, the election will be held next year and will make California a good example for the rest of the country.

Prop 50

The second item is the special election scheduled for this November.  Governor Newsom and the legislature passed three bills in the last days of the session and the one bill actually says it is in response to the actions of Texas.  California voted several years ago to create a Redistricting Commission after each census made up of equal number of Democrats, Republicans and Independents.  The Commission studies population trends and holds multiple public hearings throughout the state for public input, an open process.  They determine the Congressional districts.

California’s legislature, behind closed doors, re-drew Republican districts to merge with democrat districts so Republicans lost five (5) seats for California in Congress if the measure is approved.

This measure is temporary until the next census when the Redistricting Commission will do their job again, but in the meantime, Republicans will loose five seats.  And by the way,  Simi Valley will be merged with a district in San Fernando Valley, no longer part of Ventura County.

There will be No on Prop 50 signs the first week in October.  THIS IS A  BACKROOM DEAL OF THE GOVERNOR AND LEGISLATURE.  NO CITIZEN INPUT, ONLY THEIR GOAL OF GAINING DEMOCRAT CONTROL OF CONGRESS AND HOLD TRUMP HOSTAGE.  It should be noted that this special election is costing taxpayers a minimum of $200 million, a non-state budgeted item against a budget that is already in the red by at least $40 billion.

VOTE NO AND SPREAD THE WORD.
